Banana Beet Smoothie (Paleo, Dairy Free)

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 small cooked beets, chopped (about 1/2 cup rounded)
  • 1 large frozen ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower florets*
  • 1-2 scoops collagen (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp ground flax
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk

Instructions

  1. Add all smoothie ingredients to a high powered blender or food processor.
  2. Blend, starting at a low speed and gradually increasing the speed, until the smoothie has a smooth, consistent texture.  Use the tamper as needed to help blend the ingredients.
  3. Pour smoothie into a large cup or small bowl.  Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Want a sweeter smoothie?  Add another frozen banana or a teaspoon of maple syrup or honey.
