Description

These lamb burgers are paleo, whole30 and gluten free.  They're perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or summer barbecue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped shallots
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp fish sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a frying pan on medium heat. I used my non-toxic ceramic frying pans and they worked perfectly!

  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine all lamb burger ingredients. Use your hands to combine the ingredients. Then, separate the mixture into four equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten.

  3. Place the burgers on the preheated frying pan and cover with a lid. (I like covering them so they cook through more evenly.) Cook covered for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the burgers and cook an additional 10 minutes uncovered.*

Notes

*I like my burgers cooked through (no pink showing), but If you prefer a little pink in the middle then decrease the cooking time.
