These collagen brownie bites require just 5 ingredients and make for a healthy dessert or protein packed snack.  They're gluten free, dairy free, paleo and easily made keto.


  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup*
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup collagen peptides (33g)
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa powder (15g)
  • 1/8 tsp salt (optional, omit if almond butter is salted)


  1. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the almond butter, maple syrup and vanilla.  Once combined, mix in the collagen, cocoa powder and salt**
  3. Roll the dough into balls, each about one tablespoon in size.  After rolling, place on the lined baking sheet.  You should get about 14 bites.
  4. Enjoy immediately, or place in the fridge to set.
  5. Store in an airtight container or baggie in the fridge, up to two weeks.


*For keto, use a liquid sugar free sweetener, such as Lakanto maple flavored syrup.

**The dough may appear too dry at first, but just keep mixing it.  Use your hands to knead the dough if necessary.  If it is still too dry, then add more almond butter or maple syrup.
