Description
Easy garlic plantain fries made in the air fryer. Paleo, Vegan, Whole30 and allergy friendly.
Ingredients

- 2 extra large, ripe plantains*
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp pink salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- flaked salt to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Cut plantains into fry shapes**
- Place the cut plantains in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with oil. Coat, using tongs or your hands.
- Sprinkle fries with salt and garlic powder. Mix until well coated.
- Lay the plantain fries on the air fryer basket so that none of the fries are overlapping.
- Optional: top with with flaked sea salt.
- Place the basket on the upper rack of the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes (on air fry setting).
- Remove fries, flip and cook an additional 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Cool slightly and eat!
Notes
*Ripe meaning yellow with a few brown spots
