Description

This healthy mint chip smoothie is made with fresh spinach, avocado and sweetened with banana.  It has a deliciously sweet mint flavor - perfect for a refreshing breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 frozen ripe bananas, chopped
  • 1 cup spinach, packed
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 1 Tbsp hemp protein (optional)*
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint flavoring
  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 2 Tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a high powered blender or food processor. Blend on low speed, gradually increase the speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  2. Add in the chocolate chips and blend for a few seconds to combine.

  3. Pour smoothie into tall glass or bowl and enjoy!
