Description
Easy Paleo Air Fryer Chicken Tenders, crusted with cassava flour, cooked in the air fryer and great for a healthy family dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts (about 3 lbs)
- 3 Tbsp cassava flour
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried dill
- 1/2-1 tsp salt (depending on taste preference)
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules
Instructions
-
Grease the wire air frying basket with oil (I used avocado oil). Place the basket on top of the air fryer baking sheet. Set aside.
-
In a small mixing bowl, combine the cassava flour and spices.
-
Cut the chicken breasts into strips. One at a time, dip the chicken breasts into the spice mixture, coating them completely. Lay the chicken tenders on the air frying basket.
-
Plug in the air fryer. Place the chicken on the top rack of the air fryer, turn the function to "air fry" and the temperature to 400 degrees. Air fry the chicken tenders for 12-15 minutes. (Cooking time will vary slightly depending on how thick you cut the tenders.)
-
Cool slightly and eat!
