Description
These spicy pecans are the perfect paleo salad topper, portable snack or even dessert addition.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 Tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place pecans in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Combine honey and avocado oil and drizzle over the pecans. Mix until well coated.
- Sprinkle thyme, salt and cayenne over the pecans. Mix until well coated.
- Place pecans on lined baking sheet, spreading them apart so that they only slightly overlap.
- Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. (Be sure to watch them so they don't burn.)
- After roasting, remove the roasted pecans from your oven and let them cool to room temperature on the baking pan. You can pop them in the fridge to cool faster.
- Store pecans in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks, or in the fridge up to two months.
