Spicy Honey Roasted Pecans (Paleo)

These spicy pecans are the perfect paleo salad topper, portable snack or even dessert addition.




  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place pecans in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  3. Combine honey and avocado oil and drizzle over the pecans.  Mix until well coated.
  4. Sprinkle thyme, salt and cayenne over the pecans.  Mix until well coated.
  5. Place pecans on lined baking sheet, spreading them apart so that they only slightly overlap.
  6. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.  (Be sure to watch them so they don't burn.)
  7. After roasting, remove the roasted pecans from your oven and let them cool to room temperature on the baking pan. You can pop them in the fridge to cool faster.
  8. Store pecans in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks, or in the fridge up to two months.
