Description

These healthy teriyaki beef bowls are a delicious paleo and whole30 meal option.


Ingredients

Scale

Beef

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tsp grated ginger root
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (I used Primal Kitchen)

Bowls

  • 2 cups cauliflower rice, cooked and seasoned
  • 1 cup peeled carrots
  • 1 cup thinly sliced cucumber, 
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion,
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp chives
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place ground beef in a large frying pan and cook over medium heat with garlic, ginger and salt.
  2. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, add in the teriyaki sauce and simmer until most of the moisture has evaporated.
  3. Assemble the bowls: add beef and cauliflower rice, then top with the remaining bowl ingredients.
