These healthy teriyaki beef bowls will be your dinner go-to! They come together quickly, are made with ground beef and paired with cauliflower rice, fresh veggies and flavorful herbs. This recipe is gluten free, dairy free, paleo and whole30 approved.

I love cooking up ground beef for dinner, as it's easy, versatile and nutritious. These healthy teriyaki ground beef bowls have become my newest weekly go-to.

The ground beef is super easy to make - just 5 ingredients needed. You can keep the meal whole30 by pairing it with cauliflower rice and veggies. Or, you can opt for real rice or even noodles.

This recipe is easy to customize to your liking and is a great way to use up fresh produce for dinner.

Why You'll Love These Beef Bowls

    • Paleo and Whole30 approved - made with healthy whole food ingredients.
    • Easy to make - cook the ground beef in a frying pan, then pair with your favorite veggies and rice (or cauliflower rice).
    • Kid friendly - the ground beef is tasty and full of flavor, a kid favorite!
    • Great for meal prep - cook the ground beef and prep the veggies ahead of time to make meal time even easier.

    Ingredients

Here's a list of what you'll need to make this paleo teriyaki beef bowl:

    • ground beef
    • garlic
    • fresh ginger
    • salt
    • teriyaki sauce - any will do, but I used Primal Kitchen's teriyaki sauce which is paleo and whole30 approved.
    • cauliflower rice - I used the cauliflower rice recipe from my blog, but you can follow any recipe. If you're not following a strict paleo/whole30 diet, then feel free to use real rice or noodles instead.
    • peeled carrots - I used a veggie peeler to peel the carrots, but you could also slice them thinly with a sharp knife or grate them.
    • sliced cucumber - we love English cucumbers
    • red onion - or any type of onion
    • pickled jalapeños - or fresh if you prefer
    • cilantro - you may swap for parsley
    • chives - or green onions
    • sesame seeds - optional garnish

    Instructions

    1. Place ground beef in a large frying pan and cook over medium heat with garlic, ginger and salt.
    2. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, add in the teriyaki sauce and simmer until most of the moisture has evaporated.
    1. Assemble the bowls: add beef and cauliflower rice, then top with the remaining bowl ingredients.

    Storage

For fully assembled bowls, keep leftovers in an airtight container and enjoy with 3 days.

If you're meal prepping, then keep the ground beef, cauliflower rice and prepared veggies in their own airtight containers. Assemble the bowls just before eating.
