    Healthy mango popsicles.

These mango popsicles are the perfect way to cool down, all while enjoying a healthy sweet treat. I've been making them for my kids, along with my strawberry watermelon popsicles and chocolate banana popsicles.

These mango popsicles are thick and creamy, with a delicious mango flavor and a healthy dose of protein to keep your blood sugar levels stable. They're so easy to make and sure to be a summertime staple!

Why You'll Love These Mango Popsicles

    • paleo friendly - made with simple, real food ingredients
    • gluten free and dairy free - perfect for those with food intolerances
    • easy to make - blend ingredients, pour into a popsicle mold and freeze
    • not icy - soft and creamy right out of the freezer.

    Ingredients

Here's a list of what you'll need to make these healthy mango popsicles:

    • mango - fresh or frozen, cut into chunks
    • yogurt - I used unsweetened almond milk yogurt, but any plain yogurt will work.
    • honey - to further sweeten the popsicles. You can omit this ingredient, or swap it for maple syrup.
    • lime - juice from half a lime.
    • collagen - makes the popsicles creamier and boosts the protein content. This ingredient is optional and can be swapped with an unflavored protein powder.
    • salt - to enhance the flavors

Tip: To make these mango popsicles vegan, be sure to use a dairy free yogurt (like coconut yogurt or almond milk yogurt), swap the honey for maple syrup and either omit the collagen or swap it for an unflavored protein powder.

    Can I use frozen mango?

Yes, fresh or frozen mango will work for this recipe. Just defrost the frozen mango before using it.

Is there a way to make these mango popsicles vegan?

Yes! Be sure to use dairy free yogurt (I used almond milk yogurt), swap the honey for maple syrup and either omit the collagen or swap it with a plant based protein powder.

Do I have to add sweetener?

No, you can make these unsweetened mango popsicles by leaving out the honey. Just note, this will change the taste and the popsicles won't be very sweet.

    Description

These healthy mango popsicles are made with mango, yogurt and lime juice.  They're the ultimate summer treat - thick, creamy and refreshing!

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 3 heaping cups mango (fresh or frozen)*
    • 1 cup unsweetened yogurt (I used almond milk yogurt)
    • 2-3 Tbsp raw honey
    • 1 Tbsp lime juice
    • ¼ cup collagen peptides
    • pinch of salt

    Instructions

    1. Add all popsicle ingredients to a blender.
    2. Blend, starting at a low speed and gradually increasing the speed until the mixture is smooth and well pulverized.
    3. Pour the popsicle mixture into your popsicle mold.  Add the popsicle sticks.
    4. Place the popsicles in the freezer and freeze overnight, or for at least 6 hours.
    5. Remove from popsicle mold and enjoy!

    Notes

For vegan mango popsicles, be sure to use dairy free yogurt, swap the honey for maple syrup and omit the collagen or swap it with a plant based protein.

If not dairy free, using a Greek yogurt would be perfect for this recipe!  It will make these popsicles ultra creamy.

*If using frozen mango, defrost the mango before using.
