I like easy recipes when it comes to dinner! You too?!

Good, because these whole30 sesame ginger meatballs are easy to make AND taste great - my entire family loves them. In fact, I make meatballs usually once a week because they don't take much prep and my family happily eats them.

Easy Paleo Meatballs

Here's what you need to know about these ginger beef meatballs:

  • made with grass fed ground beef (other types of meat work too if you wish to mix it up)
  • paleo and whole30 approved
  • no added sugar
  • no breadcrumbs
  • coated with a sticky sesame sauce

They're great on their own or eaten with veggie noodles, grain free noodles, cauliflower rice, sautéed veggies or just thrown on a simple salad. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong!

How to Make Paleo Meatballs

These meatballs are easy to make and require little prep time.

First, prepare the meatballs. Chop the onion and parsley, press the garlic, and grate the ginger.

Place all of the meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine with your hands. Then, roll the meat into balls about 2 tablespoons in size, making 18 meatballs.

Place the meatballs on a frying pan and cook on medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. (Took me about 15 minutes.)

I like to cook the meatballs covered (place a lid over the pan) for the first 10 minutes so that the heat is more evenly distributed and they cook through.  Then, I remove the lid and continue cooking the meatballs until they brown and most of the moisture has evaporated.

While the meatballs are cooking, make the sauce. Combine all sauce ingredients in a small mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.

Once the meatballs are cooked through, pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir until the sauce thickens.

Serve and top with additional sesame seeds.

Store any leftovers in the fridge. The meatballs are best eaten within 3-4 days.
